How's it going, I'm DJ MAL, and I present a show on Belfield FM (UCD's student radio station) called PUNC: the Irish Punk Rock Radio Show. As you might guess from that I have a bit of an interest in Irish punk music, which is what lead me to the City of Boomtown. Now, I was interested enough to sign my declaration of citizenship, but like Eamon DeValera I consider it an empty formula and reserve the right to turn traitor at any time. If the Boomtown Rats object to this, I must warn them that I have in my hand a copy of the O'Brien Junior Biography Library of Bob Geldof from 1989, and it has a picture of his Bobness "taking part in the school opera" at the Rock, wearing a frock coat and powdered wig. 'Twould be a shame if that picture was leaked...
The radio show has a website at punc.neocities.org. You can listen to old episodes of the show and that there, if you're interested.
Whatever happened the revolution?
Welcome to Boomtown. We already have a revolting Rat.
