We’ve still not managed to go anywhere on holiday but last weekend we thought we’d re-live all our school-trip memories and visit Speke Hall in Liverpool.
Built from 1530, it’s a Grade 1 listed Tudor manor house and has everything from moats, to giants to ghost stories….. it was a great way to spend a wintery Saturday afternoon with the grandkids.
Fabulous!!! You know, Shrewsbury has many Tudor homes/buildings.. I just find these types of buildings are fascinating..
