Be it fireflies in the country or spotlights in the city, lights are preparing to dance around you, celebrate you, and welcome you into a warm world of appreciation...
Today I've drawn the Ace of Wands. Wands are fire, passion, fury, inspiration, illumination, the masculine world of the Sun, and one of the places where the greatest magic is Begun. Wands are not at all afraid or shy of saying, "Look at what I've just come up with!" And Aces certainly aren't! Aces are the 1st card of every suit & they are very unapologetically "I*. So what did you come up with today...or last night...what have you been mulling over for a while? I bet it's spectacular! Something entirely unique is forming inside that beautiful mind of yours...Why not bring it to light? The more you're willing to let the light shine upon what you're creating, the more likely you are to attract your desired outcome.
The Ace of Wands is like a big, blazing staff (Wands are sometimes referred to as Staffs) that you put firmly in the ground to bring light to yourself for all the world to see. It can be to bring attention to yourself, which is a perfectly great thing to do, or it can be to bring attention to something you really care about ~ also a perfectly great thing to do! The Ace of Wands let's you know that in order to get going what you want to get going, you need to do it boldly, fearlessly, uninhibitedly, and have a lot of fun doing it. Fire loves having fun and fully enjoying all of the amazing things life has to offer!
The spider web in the "Guardian Of the Night" rendition of the Ace of Wands shows your fully~formed plan that you put so much love & care into. It's firmly attached to the Wand the spider (you) has climbed all the way to the top of. What surrounds the spider couldn't be sweeter...a glow from feeling so happy inside, a bed of honeysuckle below, symbolizing joy in life & support and protection, which honeysuckle is also symbolic of. Of equal meaning is all of the beautiful fireflies drawn to the honeysuckle & the lights of the city windows. Something you & only you have to offer is going to draw many and from far & wide! But of all the encouraging things the firefly brings to you (Hope, Energy, Guidance, Patience, New Ideas, Creativity, Attraction, Inspiration, & Illumination), the most beautiful knowledge the physically delicate but tough in spirit firefly wants to offer you is for you to know that our paths are made lighter & easier to walk down by the beauty & magic we allow into our lives...the passion, the excitement, and the fun for fun's sake. What makes YOU happy, what lights up the night for you, is bound to do it for the rest of us, too! Don't keep the fireflies in a jar ~ they're too pretty & powerful for that! Set them free on the garden ~ in the backyard or upon the highest rooftop ~ and just watch what happens!
