💇 Hairpiece 100: Wigging Out!...and Where Are You Sprinting Off To? 🦌

I wish I could lay claim to the spectacular first part of that title but unfortunately it's not mine. 😐 I came upon it yesterday while searching an old Rolling Stone magazine article & landed upon someone's site on Flickr that has every (I believe) issue of Smash Hits! (It turns out there are several people on Flickr who have uploaded them (not just the covers, the whole magazine!), so if you love Smash Hits like I do, I would definitely head over to Flickr! (Here's a link to Yearbook 1983 https://www.flickr.com/photos/51106326@N00/albums/72157632080126607/ ) All of the above pages in my collage (except for the Nick Heyward cover & the Beat feature, which is in the Nick issue) come from Smash Hits Yearbook 1983, in which they flashed ahead to what their cover & features on 1983's biggest pop stars will be like in 2023! I think they got the price right at £7.95 & I think someone was a little bit psychic in predicting that Haircut 100 would have a headline on the cover since they do have those two shows coming up in May & hopefully are experiencing a permanent reunion! (The Hairpiece part is all wrong, though, since Nick has his full head of hair...as do several of the others!) Coming upon this was a nice little surprise yesterday! It was exactly the nice kind of surprise that comes along when we're experiencing a total solar eclipse in Aries as we all did overnight between yesterday & today (obviously different times depending on where you are). I love times when you get really lost in something because during those times, your mind is completely relaxed & it untangles the knots in your mind, creating space for good things to come in, whether that's simply the relaxation itself or the door it inevitably opens (this is why I love tarot ~ because it does that very thing).

The tarot card that I drew during the time of this eclipse is the 8 of Spirals from the Chrysalis Tarot (8 of Wands in Rider~Waite~Smith, pictured next to it). The stag in the woods in the Chrysalis Tarot is sprinting off to somewhere during the solar eclipse under 8 bright comets. These represent inspiration, powerful dreams, or flash thoughts that have come to him & he's not going to dismiss them. He's sprinting off to where he feels he's meant to be or to what he's meant to do. These flashes of thought, powerful dreams, or inspiration came to him yesterday, overnight, this morning, just like they came to you or will come to you in the coming weeks (the powerful influence of eclipses continues for a couple of weeks after the eclipse & our thoughts, decisions, & actions during them have great & powerful impact on the future). It's never a good idea to ignore these but especially now, under the influence of a solar/hybrid eclipse in Aries, you really don't want to. They're not happening for no reason. Everything with Aries happens fast ~ that's why this is a very likely time to be having meaningful flashes of thought or inspiration. And Aries loves new. In fact, new is vital to Aries. The 8 of Spirals/8 of Wands'astrological association is with Mercury in Sagittarius ~ that's why that beautiful stag is sprinting as fast as he can to get to where the new is, to where his heart, his mind, & his whole being are telling him to go. If he stays in the old, his spirit will die. Sagittarius, like Aries, is a fire sign (the 3rd of the three fire signs is Leo) and the fire signs must follow their hearts, their inspiration & keep life exciting in order to feel happy. It's as simple as that. As many of you will know, we all have an entire birth chart made up of every planet & asteroid and, in most cases, made up of all 4 elements (Fire, Earth, Air, & Water) to some degree, so you don't have to be a Fire sign to be feeling this urge now for the new and the exciting and it's no minor thing ~ chances are, all of us have some area of life where we're living confined or more confined than we would like to be.

To continue to suffer in this area of life is only to bring yourself mental, emotional, & physical detriment. If dreams, thoughts, & feelings are showing you a way to bring change & refreshment to this area of life or making it clear to you that you need to break free from it altogether in order to be a happy and healthy person, listen to yourself. This is your life to live and it's so precious. Picture what it will feel like to feel like that stag running with the cool of the night air upon him, the magic of the night surrounding him, hearing the crunch of the forest beneath his feet and the sound of his own incredible heart beating

Also pictured up above is my Chihuahua, Elfie, yesterday, while I was happily looking through the Smash Hits Yearbook 1983. He was asleep with a smile upon his face under one of the big pink tulle bows I have tied around the legs of the table. Elfie & I share a birthday. Never get between a Taurus & the color pink. :)
