Happy St. Patrick's Day (early)! I drew today's tarot card, the 10 of Pentacles from the Druid Craft Tarot, after having added some design to the above picture of the Rats on the red carpet the night "Citizens Of Boomtown" premiered & it's extremely fitting that I did! Maybe I was drawn to pick up this card because I could sense the feelings expressed on the other side of it (I draw a card with all of the cards in the deck fanned out in front of me face down) would so fully express the photo I'd been spending some time adding trim to. The 10 of Pentacles is one of my favorite cards & the reasons for that are the same as what makes me love this picture of the Rats so much! If you're new to tarot, just spend a little time looking at this picture of Simon, Bob, Pete & Garry on this night of great celebration & I don't need to tell you one single word about the 10 of Pentacles. You understand it perfectly! It's Joy, Contentment, & Celebration! (Admittedly, this particular rendition of the 10 of Pentacles doesn't seem to present that very well ~ ha, ha, ha! ~ but I promise you, it's there!) It's being with the ones you love most..not for a day, not for a year...This is who you're traveling through Time with...not because you have to but because you want to. This is who you choose to spend forever with. They make you feel happy, content, they understand you and you know you can fully & completely be yourself with them and they will love you always. Because this is Pentacles, which represents the Earth element, this is real and rooted. No one in this picture will ever leave or abandon you because they love you. Everyone here has been through a lot together ~ joy, sorrow, celebration, hardship. The constant has always been Love, and because this is a "10" , it symbolizes the ultimate. It doesn't get greater or more powerful than this.
