i have been living in Dublin for over a week now, but this is my first time seeing a rat around here! look at him go. i was on my lunch break and i went to my favourite spot near the bridge, thatโs when this guy popped up. i offered him a chip but he politely declined and went for a swim in the river.

Hey, Paul...I hope you're doing well. With the horrible drone attack that took place in Kyiv yesterday, I just want to say I hope so much that all of your family & friends are okay. I'm sending good thoughts your & their way. ๐ฟ ๐ป๐ป๐ป๐ป๐ฟ ~ Jennifer ๐ฟ ๐ป๐ป๐ป๐ป ๐ฟ
๐๐๐ Hi, Paul! Happy Halloween Month! I'm so curious...how have you come to move to Dublin? I'm so happy for you! I've been very worried about you remaining in Ukraine. What are some of your favorite things about Dublin so far? I would love to hear! I wish you so much happiness there! I hope it's everything you're hoping for & a place where you can make your dreams come true! ๐โ๏ธ๐ With All My Good Luck Wishes,
Jennifer ๐๐๐
It must be quite an adjustment to make, thankfully in a good direction.
rat things aside, iโve been doing well ever since i moved to Ireland. itโs honestly weird to suddenly be plunged into an environment where everything has been fine these past seven months. no one has PTSD, thereโs motorbikes, firecrackers, ambulances and all those other things i despise hearing. but, thereโs also no air raid sirens or government curfew anymore! iโve been settling in just fine and slowly falling into my pre-war routine: wake up at 7, breakfast, walk to class, all that stuff. itโs been a bit weird at first, but right now iโm pretty happy with where i am right now.
