change the shape maybe to hexagon
With the interior borders and offset corner pieces, it already looks less like Monopoly. I would think that Hasbro couldn't copyright the shape of a square, but they likely own more lawyers than anyone here. The design could be further distanced from the Monopoly design by not having 11 entries along each side (probably easiest by reducing count), or by having a different number of entries on the left-right sides than the top-bottom sides.
