when i just moved to Dublin, i didn't have a lot of friends so i'd often go down to a small bridge that was around a 10 minute walk from my college. it was a quiet spot where i could take a break from all the noise and the crowds. there i met three lovely river rats who i'd often come to visit on my lunch break in between my classes. they were a great bunch of lads. sadly i haven't seen them since winter rolled around, but i still came back to the bridge from time to time to see if they ever come back.
