I think I’m pining – longing for a warm, balmy place to relax. All of this ridiculous self-pity is because as autumn sets in and we approach winter, I’m beginning to realise I haven’t been overseas for years - literally.

I’m really missing Cairo – a place I’ve visited so many times.
