Nick: April see’s you back playing live in 2022, starting with the festival in Scotland. How are rehearsals going?
Pete: Rehearsals haven’t started yet but they will be intense on the days leading up to the first gig this year. Gaz will need a new shirt and Bob will need the mike sanitized! Solid Simon never lets us down.
Nick: How easy is it to incorporate tracks from COB at festivals? Is there pressure for greatest hits dominated sets?
Pete: The more rockier tracks like “Trash Glam Baby” sit in quite easily and have already worked well. The more electronic tracks like “Monster Monkey” and “Get A Grip” are proving more difficult and need more rehearsal.
Citizens like to hear the old hits and we like playing them so no pressure.
Nick: Any plans for a tour, or venue dates during the year?
Pete: Not at the moment, but watch this space.
Nick: Other plans for 2022?
