Hello everyone - a final post from me before I head off tomorrow for what I am very much anticipating will be a great weekend at the Great British Alternative Music Festival, headlined of course by the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world (from Dun Laoghaire): The Boomtown Rats.

So please don’t expect much more than the occasional short post from me for a day or so, and then I’ll be back with my fellow councillors with:

· Reports and pics from The Rats’ last live performance of the year.

· Stuff from other noteworthy performances at Skegness and

· One or two other new things for the Citizens of Boomtown.

So, rouse your rabbles, make sure your loins are girded and generally make all appropriate preparations for the post-Skegness run up to Christmas (did I just say ‘Christmas’???)
