Following hot on the heels of my last post about Elephants’ Graveyard (Guilty) is this anniversary post about the landmark 7” that is Someone’s Looking At You.

Now, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what I could say this year - that I didn’t cover when I reviewed the record release in early 2022 (search “Released this month…” in CoB and you should find the earlier review). I’m also a bit stunned I wrote that piece a year ago – feels like it was only a couple of months….
Sometime ago, someone on here or on one of the other Rats’ social media pages pointed out that the image on the 7” and 12” picture sleeve was from the Wall Street area of New York. I’ve tried to recreate the image in Google Streetview but can’t quite get it right.

Maybe if I get there again, I’ll be able to recreate it and share it with you all on Here’s a Postcard.
'Till then enjoy the music......this is one of my favourite Rat's singles and loved the way it introduced the Fine Art of Surfacing to us all.
Love Love Love!! One of my all-time favourites!!
Superb song that has stood the test of time. One of my all time Rats favourites and is also brilliant live.
When I was in NYC in 2010 I stood there and looked at it, but very stupidly didn’t take the photo. One of likes regrets 😂.
