Sharing with you my favourite song off all time by the wonderful Marc Bolan and T.Rex. The clip is from TOTP in 1971 and is Get it On. Just love this song and great production by Tony V which gives it a haunting feeling and great groove. And of course Marc had the BTRs on his TV series doing No 1. Both bands are from Liverpool. Ive always been a Bunnymen fan, Lips Like Sugar is a great song. Was on the same album as The Game.
XTC's Life Begins At The Hop is another of my favourite songs. I urge anyone who doesn't know about XTC to listen to this as an introduction. It has everything I could ever want in a pop song.

Silver by Echo and the Bunnymen is a song I always find inspiring, and contains the great line ' man has to be his own saviour '. It's certainly something I would put on a mixtape if I had a time machine!
