Any thoughts on when live music will be back to near normal? With social distancing a priority will we be seeing the mosh pit and the pogo anytime soon? From a few hundred to a few thousand to giant stadium gigs people are what make the live experience. But how's it all going to work in 3 or 6 months time?
For me it's really hard to see what we've been used to for so long quickly reemerging. It's going to look a bit peculiar if , say, seats are cordoned off and fans sit in ones or two's. Again will music fans have to 'social distance' when standing, which obviously would mean reduced venue capacity.
More questions than answers really, at the moment. What about protocol for the bands and more importantly the roadies! Will the bars in the auditoriums be able to serve drinks and food. What about the merchandise stalls.
Do any of you miss the buzz of live music and the social aspects too?

It's one of the things I'm missing the most too! I do worry like you say when we can go to gigs again if there will be restrictions at first... it just won't be the same! 😩
i’m HOPING that things might start to return to normal at the end of this year/early next year if all goes well. But i’m just gonna wait until health officials give us the go ahead, as the health of me and my family is much more important, as much as i miss going to concerts!!
My question as well.. I have my trip rescheduled for November but I’m not to keen on the timing because it’s going to be colder and not as pretty as it is In Summer.. If the gigs were cancelled, I’d come over earlier.. Still so much unknown..
Nothing beats live music but if we can get a few gigs booked for early next year then it can help us get thro these times easier.. ( with a wee bar open )
I doubt we will see much, if anythI get, until at least next year. Gatherings of people will be the last thing to return to normal.
