KEEP GOING
⭐
That's the very most important thing I can say to you today. You are so incredibly important, so incredibly needed by the world ~ even if you don't see how or why at the moment ~ you ARE and you WILL see that. You are VERY much meant to be here ~ that's why you were born ~ so KEEP GOING.
With the section I'm writing this for, Passing Through, I'm the very most open to last minute changes to anything I went to it planning to write if something else should intercept and let me know that in the particular moment I'm writing, there's something I can write which will speak to someone reading it more than what I originally planned. Maybe it's the paragraph I wrote up above. I woke up thinking about what I had planned to write today, then I reached for my phone, and turned the Ryan Tubridy Show on on Dublin's Q102 just in time for him to be talking about how he'd just gone to a museum where he saw some handwritten Beatles lyrics, which meant a lot to him because they're his favorite band and how he also read a letter written by a World War I veteran that was deeply moving to him. I was thinking about the letter he'd read at the museum, so didn't quite catch his next couple of sentences but my mind came back to really focusing on what he was saying by about the 3rd sentence and I thought it was a really good quote, so I reached for a pen to write it down but then it REALLY stuck with me and especially given the nature of what I knew I was preparing to write about, I want to write this here in case it will have meaning for anyone now or at any point in time who may come across this:
"If you're interested, act on it and if you're curious, follow it."
On the earthly plane, those are simply good words spoken by Ryan Tubridy. In the realm, however, where those we love who are no longer here are, those words may have been meant to really stand out to me because they're a gentle nudge from someone's loved one who knows they'll be reading this today. Which leads me to the second portion of what I was going to share with you. Those we love who are no longer here WILL ALWAYS find ways to help us when we need help. Always. Be open also to the fact that the spirit world, in general, wants to help us. It's completely possible to receive help or a visit in some form from someone you never knew personally who knows they can help you in your present situation. They will. People on earth can sometimes forget this but those in spirit form know that the single most important thing we can ever do is help another person or animal. There is no monetary gain, no fame, no achievement of a particular social status, etc., that will ever be worth more than that.
If you would like to learn more about the things I'm talking about, the person I will recommend to you above all others is Suzane Northrop, a medium from upstate New York. My sister gave me her copy of Suzane's book "Second Chance" at the end of September, 2008, when I was in horrible pain and torment over the loss of my cat, Diamond, to abdominal lymphoma. He was only 11. (In our day and time, young for cats, even though senior). I adopted him and his brother Teddy, when they were 7. We were close instantly but I had spent the past year dedicating myself specifically to his going into remission and permanently staying in remission and this constant daily fighting for his life together essentially made us one. The permanent part didn't happen and I was completely lost. Suzane Northrop's "Second Chance" is the only thing that helped me make it through. As just a short example of how those we love who are no longer here help us, here's an excerpt from Chapter 3, entitled "Making Contact":
"The voices I hear come from our own loved ones who have gone before us. They are taking time out from their own paths to reach back spiritually and touch us. They don't have to do that. They finished this lifetime's roles, and have the rest of their journey to get on with. But they are making the time, borrowing a moment from infinity to stop, ask us to listen, and ask us to let them help. The choice is ours. They come to remind us of something we know in our souls, and conveniently forget once we get caught up in the business of Life. We are co~creators of our journey. Life is a script, and we begin putting the pieces together before birth. Their work is finished here. Ours is yet to be done. "
I will tell you and Suzane will tell you, you don't have to be a medium to experience this. As you go about your days, should you be walking along and find something special, something that has meaning for you, this is someone you love who is no longer here saying, "I know what you're going through, I'm here to help you through it ~ I'm always right here ~ and I love you."
A song on the radio, something you find on the sidewalk, in a drawer, anywhere at all... that triggers a thought of the one you love... that IS the one you love. Be still for as long as you need and listen to what they're saying to you.
