This breaks my heart. The Rolling Stones have been a source of inspiration and dreams to me ever since I first heard their music. Charlie Watts has not only been an amazing drummer who had Swing and Rhythm in his veins, he also was a great and humble person who inspired millions and will keep inspiring forever and ever. But he's not really left us, because what ever is over today is still happening in the past. What ever we had once, we will have for the rest of time. Quod sumus, hoc eritis. Fuimos quandoque, quod estis. Rest in peace, and thank you for everything.

It's a sad day for music. Much love to Charlie Watts' family, colleagues, friends, and countless fans. Thanks to Charlie for a lifetime spent propelling the Stones. He belongs to the ages now, immortal in song.
I'll be over here, spinning "Blue and Lonesome" for the rest of the week.
