I must admit with lockdown and dark nights its music that keeps me going and does it really matter who you play? as it just takes you into your own wee world.
My mum has dementia now and not a word she will miss when I am playing her songs on a visit. Yet she gets so confused on normal days in her life and doesn't recognise the house she lives after 52 years of staying. Its the power of music through your childhood till now that stays with you. Maybe the reason we are on all sites with bands for good memories we want to share.
I do have utube to thank but it gives me so much pleasure seeing the mum I know being normal again over a few songs. I have yet to try Rat Trap on her its Gilbert this week.
I tink next time we c the rats live, they'll all b Sittn on stools like "westlife" 🤣🤣
I am sorry to hear about your Mum. My Mum had dementia, horrible, cruel illness. Music works so well. I hope she enjoys Rat Trap 😄.
