I stumbled across this by accident. It's rather beautiful.

Like you, I felt horror when I heard a request for a song being shouted out but I don't think it was an English~speaking audience, so I don't think that person knew what had just been said to him. 💔

Oh my God, Nick. I saw this right after it was posted and I was in genuine emotional pain watching it, especially at the beginning when he doesn't realize right away what's been said. I felt REALLY bad for him. And then what seems like an hour that goes by while we watch him painfully processing it. I almost feel like it shouldn't be up for public viewing but on the other hand, like you said, it's rather beautiful and his tribute to her is also so beautiful and moving. This is one of the most real moments I've seen in a human being. I do feel really, really bad for him that this is how he found out. He looks really alone but I'm also sure she was helping him through and felt pain for him, too. I love Damien Rice' music.

To clarify, it was the original posting of it by the person who took the video that had me thinking it almost shouldn't be available for public viewing. I like that you've made it available here because it's also very beautiful.

I also saw this the other day. Great and sincere spontaneous tribute and can tell he was still processing it all at the time. Not sure all the audience grasped what was being shouted out at first but if non English speakers then completely understandable. Thanks for sharing
